I never tire of the sunrises we see! Not all are as colorful and glamorous as this one but we often have very pink and pretty skies (This was no filter! This was exactly what we saw. The only editing I did was a tiny straightening and otherwise it is straight out of the camera!).

Cairo we didn’t have very many pretty sunrises or sunsets. The sunsets here are also pretty, but I can’t see them from my house.  Cairo didn’t have a lot of clouds–you either had clear skies or you had heavy haze/smog. Occasionally a hint of pink and even more rarely a classic sunrise or sunset.  But here we have lots of puffy clouds and it leads to lovely skies!

The snowy mountains are always a plus, too!
