We checked out a new-to-us park this morning with some friends. It is still snowy outside despite not snowing since Tuesday because of the cold temperatures. So much of the park was still snow-covered, but this didn’t stop us! It was a great destination and one we will definitely visit again.
With 3 little kids, our focus was the playground! Enough of the climbing structures were snow free and while many slides were still wet from melting snow, one was dry enough to use. The kids also really enjoyed the see-saws and climbing structures. There were some really unique ones!
The park also has wide walking paths, a track for running/biking, a cafe, and a restaurant. We’ll definitely come ride bikes or scooters when the surfaces aren’t icy!
Practical Information:

Cost: Parking is 5 tl per car paid when you leave. This is less than $1! Admission is free.
Parking: Large parking lot with lots of space, though I am sure it gets filled up on nice days in the spring!
Bathrooms: Yes, there are. We did not use, but I saw the signs
Food/drink: Plenty of picnic tables and benches for snacking and lots of grass for picnics. There is also a cafe/coffee shop and a restaurant. Our friend said grilling is not allowed here, but picnics are.
What to do: Great playground with fun climbing structures and lots of slides. Rock/gravel playground base. Lots of grass for running. Track for running, biking or scooters. We saw a trampoline, though it was closed for the snow.
